Issue:

When accessing various functions in Orthotrac (insurance claims, printing, reports, etc.), the following error is presented:

Error (Item Can Not Be Found In The Collection Corresponding to The Requested Name or Ordinal - Error 3265)

The error may occur in various different places in the program, or when starting the program.

Solution:

This issue is caused by missing fields in the Orthotrac database, usually caused by an incomplete update.  Run updatedb.exe  to create the missing fields.

NOTE:   These steps must be done on the Orthotrac data server.  They cannot be run from a workstation!

1.  From the server, click Start, Run, and type the following, then press Enter:

C:\OMS\orthobac.exe

(NOTE:  This path may need to be modified depending on where Orthotrac is installed. This should be the path to the OMS folder.)

3.  Allow the backup process to complete.

4.  Click Start, Run, and type the following, then press Enter:

C:\OMS\updatedb.exe /v=10

(NOTE:  This path may need to be modified depending on where Orthotrac is installed. This should be the path to the OMS folder.)

5.  When asked if you want to create a backup copy of the database, select No.

6. Allow the update to complete.  The update should show "From Version: 10"  on the title bar.

7.  Click Start, Run, and type the following, then press Enter:

C:\OMS\updatedb.exe /v=11

(NOTE:  This path may need to be modified depending on where Orthotrac is installed. This should be the path to the OMS folder.)

8.  When asked if you want to create a backup copy of the database, select No.

7. Allow the update to complete.  The update should show "From Version: 11"  on the title bar.

9.  Click Start, Run, and type the following, then press Enter:

C:\OMS\updatedb.exe /v=12

(NOTE:  This path may need to be modified depending on where Orthotrac is installed. This should be the path to the OMS folder.)

10.  When asked if you want to create a backup copy of the database, select No.

11. Allow the update to complete.  The update should show "From Version: 12"  on the title bar.

When all three updates have been completed, try to access the Orthotrac function which was throwing the error previously.  The problem should be resolved.
