SoftDent: eServices: Validation Error - #1000 - Insured ID Number Required Field Is Empty

This validation error occurs if the Insurance Plan screen has a check next to Use Guarantor Employee Number, and the Employee # field on the Account screen is blank.

 

Entering the Employee Number in the Account Screen

1. Click List from the main menu.
2. Click Accounts.
3. Highlight the account with the validation error, and click Edit.
4. Enter the insured ID number in the Employee # field, found on the lower, left corner of the Account screen.
5. Click OK.

 

Disabling Use Guarantor in the Insurance Plan Settings, if there is no employee number.

1. Click List from the main menu.
2. Click Accounts.
3. Highlight the account with the validation error, and click Edit.
4. Select the drop-down box next to Dental.
 5. Click Edit.
 6. Select the Claim Filing tab.
 7. Uncheck Use Guarentor Employee #.
 8. Click OK.
