Goal:

What fields can be printed on this report?

How are they compared?

Can reports based on 'X' criteria be compared by 'Y' criteria?

How is the ______ user selected report created?

Solution:

User selectable reports can be used to pull a plethora of various patient or account information that is not available in all reports, normal merges, or labels. This can be useful to create new contact experts, send new or unusual information to the letter expert, generate a very concise list of certain types of patients, and a multitude of other options.

Basic Functions of User Selected Reports

Generating Patient or Account User Selected Reports:

1.
Click Reports.
2. Select Patient or Account.
3. Select User-Selected. This will display a list of currently created (none are created by default) reports.
4. Report Functions:

Run/Select: Click to run the currently selected report, click OK, click OK, click Yes, continue printing the report.

Edit Only: Click to edit the currently selected report, click OK, click OK, click Yes. This option will NOT generate the report.

Add: Click to add a new report in, enter a report title, choose the fields necessary with the corresponding "Op" and "Value" fields, click OK, click Yes, continue printing the report.

Delete: Click to delete the currently selected report, then click Yes to delete.

Generating Patient or Account User Selected Label Reports:

1. Click Reports.
2. Select Patient or Account.
3. Select Labels.
4. Select User-Selected.
5. Choose the desired output option (Laser Label File for Labels), click OK.
6. Choose the desired fields and variables, click OK.
7. Change the 'Lines per Label" if necessary, click OK.
8. Print the laser labels from Reports > Print Laser Labels.
