I'm Uriyah Robinson, Product Line Manager for Carestream Dental’s OrthoTrac software. My colleagues and I are super excited to announce the release of Orthotrac v14 which features an awesome re-design of the treatment card.
Beta users comprised of both Cloud and “on-premise” offices have been running this new version since the Global Oral Health Summit this past November and their feedback has given us great confidence to make v14 available for general release.
To address the growing needs of orthodontic practices and to improve patient treatment, version 14 was developed with direct guidance from doctors.
We’ve also added some new features and functionality that includes an intuitive interface, patient insight panel, and a multi-phased treatment progress bar.
We’ve also introduced a brand new feature in this version, the universal aligner tracker. This innovative feature was designed to help plan and monitor the treatment pathway of patients who elect to use clear aligners, regardless of manufacturer.
Because version 14 requires fewer clicks to access information, it offers:
- More time for patient engagement,
- Better tracking to improve patient compliance
- Improved workflow to help increase patient satisfaction
Each of these advantages help streamline operatory turnover to treat more patients and generate more revenue for your practice.
The system requirements for version 14 are similar to those for v12.4. We also recommend that operatories use widescreen monitors with a 1920 x 1080 resolution for the best premium viewing experience.
