Are any offices currently using the Aligner Tracking Tab within the new version of the treatment card? Is there any tutorials on this section available that might be helpful to our assistants? cs orthotrac version 14
Regarding OrthoTrac update version 14 and the new treatment card. We have not updated yet. From experience, updating software always seems to have a few "bugs" not yet worked out. Has anyone had a stress free upgrade? If it wasn't stress free, what issues did you encounter? We are using mostly laptops in our office and I wonder if this might… Show more
After almost a month of using it and having to revert back to the original tx card at the end of each day to correct any charting or procedure code errors and our front desk people having to revert back to it "on the fly" in order to enter "comments only" on patients that were coming in later the same day we decided to stick with the original tx…
We would love to see a way to add a sibling as a patient without having to re-key all of the demographic information and re-link all of the responsible parties and insurance data. It's frustrating when adding a new patient and your phone rings. You have two options: 1. sacrifice all of the data you've entered and start over after you've taken the… Show more
Time Clock, adding vacation and holiday time before it is the date, is there a fix for this in the works.
We are becoming very frustrated that we no longer have the ability to enter a "Comment Only" in a patients chart if they have an appointment later in the day. It is creating havoc for us at the end of the day and during appointments when a staff member or the doctor needs to enter a comment in the chart (generally the details of a phone call from… Show more
OrthoTrac: Version 14 - Full Treatment Dates (Including Start Date) Pulled into Multiple Other Areas
Issue: In OrthoTrac, the Start Date, Estimated Completion Date, and Completion Date from the Full Treatment tab on the Patient Information screen / Charting screen get used for various other areas of the software, including Contact Experts searches, bracket tray covers, letters, insurance claims, and more. Because these dates are used for so many…
I've noticed that when I have dates entered in the Phase 1 tab but not the Full Treatment tab that when I was going through one or two of my Office Expert reports that these patients were showing up as missing dates. We also noticed that when we reverted back to the original tx card that the phase 1 patients don't have an active green/red…
This is widely used in the dental and medical communities. Orthotrac should have this feature too since it's one of the leading practice management software. We have many patients with the same name so searching by the birthdate would be very helpful.
Can someone tell me when the next Orthotrac update after V14 expected to be released?
Is anyone else having this issue? When rescheduling an appt, we hover it over the new time slot and it jumps into another column when we double-click? It seems to be mainly when the color bar to the left side of the column. This can be very dangerous if not noticed right away! In 8.0 it didn't seem to be so "sensitive" - we now seem to have to… Show more
I need to perio chart a patient with a partial denture. The soft tissue charting is not allowing me to chart the teeth she still has existing. How do I fix this? When I check on notes for each tooth there is no entry allowing me to correct it. It looks as though a partial was done on the ledger back in 2009.. I can't correct that with out removing… Show more
The secret to this working on a partial denture is to mark the missing teeth using the missing teeth button if they are not marked as extracted or missing already.. The denture button when selecting the teeth in the arch for a partial will give you the selection of a partial denture, mark those denture teeth as missing and you will be able to…
