With the update there is now a "default slot colors" that has to be chosen in order to create a new day template. When a color is chosen the whole day is set to that color and I have to go in and erase it all before I can start adding in appointment types, which is frustrating. Is there another way to get around choosing this default color?? Thanks!

Good day Danielle ( @DSparkman ),
Choosing a color is only required when you set the day to be created with all open time slots. If the day is to be created with all open slots, a color has to be chosen for those open slots, so there is no way around choosing a color.
However, you are free to choose the option to create the day with all time slots closed (highlighted in the screenshot below):
Doing so will create the day with all time slots grayed out and you can then open and color only the slots you wish to use for open appointments, as well as add blockouts for specific appointment types. Based on your description, you may prefer this option.

Thank you......I just got off the phone with a Carestream rep and she didn't mention that to me at all. Said there was no other way around then having to manually remove the color blocks. Glad you let me know differently!!!
Good day Danielle ( @DSparkman ),
Can you let me know who you spoke with? I don't see any recent calls in call history for your practice and I want to make sure there are no repeats of this misinformation.
