BOX 41 BANDING DATE

Jump to solution

Any update to when this will be fixed? I have to submit a preauth on phase II which is pulling in phase I date.  Only solution I can find is to delete it from her chart, submit my preauthorization, and then put it back. Thx.

Good day Paula ( @paularyfa ),

I am not sure what you mean.  If a patient has a Start Date entered in the Full Treatment tab of the patient's main information screen, that Start Date will be used for the Appliance Placed (field 41) date in a newly entered claim, regardless of whether there is information in the Phase I tab.   That defect was fixed in version 15.0, some time ago.  If you are seeing a Phase I Start Date populating the Appliance Placed (field 41) date in a newly entered claim on a patient who also has a Start Date in their Full Treatment tab, please let me know the patient ID so I can review on your system.

In the meantime, please review the test patient 204544, for whom I have entered a new claim. That claim shows field 41's Appliance Placed date as 03/24/2021, the Start Date shown on the Full Treatment tab for that patient. The Start Date for their Phase I tab, 01/01/2019, is not being used for field 41 in the claim.

NOTE:  If you are referring to the ongoing defect with the Appliance Placed date being read from the Start Date *every time a claim is opened* instead of only when the claim is initially entered, that defect is still under investigation. This defect is only an issue when you are going back and editing previously entered and saved claims. It does not affect newly entered claims.
