Claims Processing

I'm getting this error message for a particular claim. I've submitted claims for this Dr. and this location previously (this month) with no problem. What is the issue?

Good morning!

Below are some instructions on how to fix your issue.

If the steps below do not correct the issue with the claims, please feel free to reach out to us at 866-722-2567

  1. From the main OrthoTrac menu click Functions > Maintenance/Setup > System Maintenance > Locations.
  2. Double click on each location listed and ensure that there is an Address entered for every location.
  3. From the main OrthoTrac menu click Functions >Insurance Functions > Claim Reports.
  4. Click bullet for the option for Date claim was entered (top left).
  5. Leave set as all dates (top left) and check the option for un-printed claims (top right).
  6. Uncheck printed claims.
  7. Select a claim type (lower left).
  8. Click ok to preview the report (this will need to be done for each claim type).
  9. Each claim on the list for each claim type will need to be checked to ensure a location was chosen and is not blank
NOTE: The affected claim(s) will display a # in front of the date entered (The bottom left of this report will designate the # as claims with an invalid office location). Client will need to refresh the office information on the claim or can remove and re-enter the claim to update. Repeats for all affected claims and re-run the report to ensure the # is gone. Then the client can generate eclaims without error.
