Credit Card Processing

We currently use TYSYS or Global Payments for our credit card processing through Orthotrac.  The fees are extremely high.  We are looking to change our credit card processing company and looking to see what other offices that have Orthotrac use.

Thank you for your response.  So if I understand you correctly you are stating that every orthodontic office that uses Orthotrac has to use TSYS for their credit card processing?

You can call TYSYS to request a lower rate with them.  We just did that recently and they lowered it for us. We also stopped accepting AMEX as the fees for that is extremely high.

We contacted TSYS for a rate review and received significantly lower fees.  Also started charging a 3% cc fee for those using reward cards.

Orthotrac will only integrate with TSYS.  They are the only company we work with.
