Mail Merge Letters

Jump to solution

I have all the letter templates set up. How do I create a list of accounts to send letters to? I cannot find a way to include the fields I want populated.

Good evening.

Good evening.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to do that in the program.

In future, may I suggest that you post your enhancement requests in the new Product Ideas section of our site?

The Product Ideas section can be reached by clicking the Practice Management pull-down on the toolbar at the top, then selecting "Product Ideas" at the bottom. A direct link is also available here:

The Product Ideas section is closely monitored by management and popular ideas can also be voted on by the community.

@jodefoe You can use Contact Expert to create a list of patients and the choose letters on the right to send letters to those patients.

Click Contact Expert icon on main OT toolbar.

In the WHERE field - Choose: Pt Resp 60 days = 1.00 to 999999

Then click search - This will populate a list of all patients 60 days or more past due with a balance of $1.00 or more.

You can choose up to 8 additional pieces of information for this report or you can choose letters - pick the letter you would like posted and post letters to all on the list.     If you would like to remove a patient from the list, simply highlight their name and click remove.    That patient will not have a letter posted.

The example above is for past due patients - but you can select any information in the contact expert to create your list of patients to send letters to.

Good afternoon @jodefoe.

When you refer to the fields you want to populate, are you meaning you'd like a list of the merge fields to put into the letters?

Thanks,
Jennifer

No, the letters are good. I need to create the list of patients the letters will be sent to. A list that will contain all the merge fields, preferably in Excel.
