Re: What is your experience with updating to OrthoTrac vers. 14

Quick question, I know the recommended screen resolution is 1920x1080, would 1920x1200 work fine, or since the ratio is not the same, would there be problems displaying correctly?

Re: What is your experience with updating to OrthoTrac vers. 14

Good day @zachtonlowe,

There are some known issues with ultra-wide displays (displays set to 2560x1080 or higher), and those will be corrected in a future version of OrthoTrac, but there have been no issues reported with a resolution of 1920x1200.  It has not been tested but no one has yet reported an issue with that specific resolution so you should be OK.

Regards,

Re: What is your experience with updating to OrthoTrac vers. 14

Thanks for your response Phil! We are anxiously awaiting for the next update so we can switch back to the new version of charting.

For those who have done the update and changed their Phase1 start/estimated completion dates to the Phase 1 tab from the Full tx tab on the Patient Information page but for whatever reason switched back to original charting keep a couple things in mind:

1) The red/green tx bar in the original charting mode will not reflect green/red status.

2) This also affects several reports because they don't recognize the information in the Phase 1 or Monitoring tabs that were created in version 14.

3) Don't be surprised if the Doctor keeps complaining about his/her green bar not having the info. Ask him/her to pick their poison (lots of time spent editing errors at the end of the day) or take a moment to click on the patient information tab to see or use bucksheets....

Re: What is your experience with updating to OrthoTrac vers. 14

We did the update over a month ago, used the new treatment card for a day but then had to switch back to the original treatment card. We had too many issues (bugs) come up in only 1 day that we felt it was better to wait until those were worked out. As far as screen resolution issues, we were fine, but we do not use laptops.

Re: What is your experience with updating to OrthoTrac vers. 14

Everyone,

I'm excited to announce that we have officially launched OrthoTrac v14.2, which not only introduces upgrades to the scheduler, but also resolved many of the issues we discovered in v14.0.     v14.2 consists of a redesign of the scheduler both in UX and functionality that allows you to easily add time to your schedule to meet the needs of your practice without the need to manually add/delete existing appointments.

We just begin shipping out updates and are excited to hear your feedback on the value-added improvements introduced in v14.2.

Re: What is your experience with updating to OrthoTrac vers. 14

We have the 14.1 update but are waiting for 14.2 to arrive before installing both updates because 14.1 does not fix the issues we were experiencing per the answers we received from CS Support. It is our understanding that they will be fixed with 14.2.

As for things that I would recommend; double check all your monitor resolution settings! This is critical for full functionality of Version 14 (and I'm assuming anything beyond).
