Windows 10 Upgrade

Jump to solution

We upgraded to Windows 10 in December 2019. SInce we have upgraded we are noticing a lot of new issues while in OrhtoTrac.

Run Time Error 30009 Invalid Row Value

Run Time Error 91 Object variable or block variable not set

Type Mismatch/Out of Range

This computer cannot establish a valid connection to: Database: OMS..............

Error (80004005) occured opening database:.......

Patient Flow Chair.Get treatment Card Setting:......

Error (-2147217871) occured backup database: Quuery timeout expired

Backing up Database Main_PWImage failed!

Database: OMS Error DBNETLIB Connection Open server doesn't exist or access denied

We are in general experiencing very slow speeds in OrthoTrac, a lot of "spinning". "not responding".

Some of these errors we can just hit ok, they go away and everything is fine and other times the error keeps coming up until it kicks us out of orthotrac, we then have to restart the computer to get back on.

We are working with out IT Company, but just wanted to see if we could get any advice on here also, or see if this is happening to other offices.

Good day Melissa ( @musichbusch ),

Windows 10 by itself does not cause issues of the kind you described.

The following errors that you listed are all network-related and would need to be addressed by your office IT, so I am glad to hear that you are already working with them.

This computer cannot establish a valid connection to: Database: OMS..............

Error (80004005) occured opening database:.......

Error (-2147217871) occured backup database: Query timeout expired

Backing up Database Main_PWImage failed!

Database: OMS Error DBNETLIB Connection Open server doesn't exist or access denied

The remaining errors that you listed each have a different cause. Please reach out to Support directly with details about each individual error. Specifically, we will need to know the exact wording of each error message, and the exact circumstances under which each error is occurring (examples: when clicking on the appointment in chair 2 at 3 PM on October 2nd;  when loading charting for patient John Smith;  when running the no-show report for January 4th and selecting the Atlanta location;  and so on).

You can reach Support at 866-722-2567 or by email at Support.US@csdental.com  .

Regards,

Phil Carter / OrthoTrac Escalations
