rescheduling appointments

We are having an issue rescheduling appointments using the clipboard. The cancelled appointment will only stay on the clipboard if we cancel from the appointment day and not the patient chart. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to rectify?

Good day Nicole ( @Damas00 ), 

Yes, this is a previously reported defect which has already been corrected in the code for the upcoming version 15.0  release.  The easiest way to work around the issue is to click on the date link from the patient's information screen to be taken directly to that schedule day and drag the appointment from its current slot to the clipboard.  Once it is dragged to the clipboard it will stay there as if you had selected to cancel it and copy it to the clipboard.  You can then select a different date and drag it from the clipboard to its new slot.

Thank you for the reply.

Is the new update going to include a fix for scheduling a recall appointment as well? Some staff regularly forget to click on the "add recall" and the recall is lost. Having a prompt to remind (similar to the message when cancelling a recall) would be helpful.

Good day Nicole ( @Damas00 ),

There are no changes to the Add Recall function scheduled for version 15.0, I'm afraid.  I recommend you post an enhancement request in the Product Ideas section of our site. 

The Product Ideas section can be reached by clicking the Practice Management pull-down on the toolbar at the top, then selecting "Product Ideas" at the bottom. A direct link is also available here:
