Light Bar options

Jump to solution

Is there a way to have the light bar blinking for the next patient in cue to be seen? In the previous version, once you clicked dr here or cancel dr call the next patient who was waiting to be seen would start flashing green so the dr knew exactly where to go. With this new version it isn't giving us the option for this,

Good day Emily (emilyk‌),

As it happens I've just finished creating a new knowledge page regarding the colors of the Stand Alone light bar and what they represent.  Please see this page for more information:

OrthoTrac: Stand Alone Light Bar Colors Explained

The quick answer is that all patients who have had the doctor called to the chair as a normal doctor call will have a flashing green background for that chair, while all patients who had a doctor call as an emergency call will have a flashing red background for that chair.  Large centered numbers indicate the order in which the doctor was called, regardless of doctor call type.  So if you called the doctor to chair 3 as a normal call, and then to chair 5 as a normal call, chair 3 and 5 would both show a flashing green background; chair 3 would show a large 1 to indicate that was the first call and chair 5 would show a large 2 to indicate that was the second call.

Good day Emily (emilyk‌),

I strongly recommend viewing that page (OrthoTrac: Stand Alone Light Bar Colors Explained )  and downloading the attached documentation as it should answer all of your questions.  In this case, "OT" means "on time", indicating the patient was not late for their appointment, as opposed to a "NS" (no show) signifier if the patient was late to their appointment.
