eForms / iPad (do not update iOS on iPad)

*** DO NOT UPDATE YOUR iPAD to iOS 10 ***

We have been getting calls about the eForms App on the iPad crashing after entering text and then hitting the spacebar. This is only occurring on iPad's that have been recently updated to iOS 10. While we are investigating this issue, we highly recommend not updating your iPad.

Matt, do you know if this applies to SoftDent users too?  If so I'd like to share it in our community.

Yes, this effects PW, SD, OT. This should be visible in the SD community

too.

Re: eForms / iPad (do not update iOS on iPad)

mczar‌ thank you for the information! d.canales‌ it looks like it did get shared to the other spaces for SoftDent and PracticeWorks (I updated my original post as I was going to share it but it looks like Matt already did!) . You'll find it under Discussions if you need to direct anyone to it.

Re: eForms / iPad (do not update iOS on iPad)

We are working on a new version of the eForms software for iPad.  In the meantime you can workaround the issue by disabling the spell check and auto-correction in the iPad Settings -> General -> Keyboards section.  This will allow you to complete forms in your office without the form crashing.

Hi Matt, is this still currently an issue with iOS10 or has it been resolved since Dec 2016?  Thanks
