In CSPracticeWorks, from the phone inquiry tab, patient contacts, new contact, follow-up calls...For patients whom have been with our practice for many years and have many past appointments it is time consuming to scroll down through appointments to the most recent. Isn't it obvious if you are making a follow-up contact that it would be from the most recent appointment? The selection starts with the first appointment and continues down to the most recent.

Unfortunately, there currently isn't a way to change the order of that list. There is, however, a tip to assist in navigating the list more quickly.
The Page Up/Down buttons, usually located to the left of your number pad on your keyboard, work within this list to scroll through it a little more efficiently.
You can clear their past appointments by going to Reports, Missed Appointments, Print Preview, Uncheck mark the marked boxes, Click OK, Click Print Preview and OK. This will clear any previous appointments and ONLY keep their upcoming appointments for them. I do this EVERY morning before we start the new day so that anyone from the previous day has been cleared out.
I think you might be referencing a report built into CS Softdent software rather than CS PracticeWorks.
Lillian- Try using the #Follow Up Contact Report because that would generate the report with specific date range rather than having to scroll through all appointment dates. As with all other contact reports, the report can only be open on one workstation.
Maybe assign the responsibility of generating the report to a team member then they can teach others on how to use and generate this report.
