Many many years ago, we were advised that if we enter anything on the second line of the address field in a patient's clipboard (like an apartment number), it would not transfer to the printed mailing address on a statement. Is that still the case?
I use the second line and any info that I enter on it prints on mailing statements, recall cards, etc. For example - I have an adult disabled patient who has a guardian that pays their balance and schedules appointments for them and would like any correspondence from us to be sent to them (the guardian). So instead of creating a separate "responsible party" clipboard - I enter "C/O John Smith" on the second line and then the street address on the third line. It prints just fine!
