I was just given a claim form to send a pre-treatment estimate for prophy, exam, bitewings and fluoride. Why all of a sudden does the prophy and bitewings have a diagnosis pointer of "C"? What does that even mean and how do I get rid of it?
It's nice to know that this is a known issue with printed Pre-determinations. Where in the cue is this issue to be resolved?
Unfortunately, I do not have access to that information.
There is part of a known issue when printing Pre-determination claims where it will print out incorrect or sometimes missing diagnostic pointers in box 29a on the claim.
This includes adding pointers when none were selected.
This does not happen on normal claims, just Pre-d's.
