How do you add treatment to an appt?

Patient is scheduled for a cleaning. Fillings are diagnosed, put in the tx plan and pt is wanting to do the fillings the same day as prophy. How do you add tx to an appt?

I was told to make a separate appt next to the cleaning appointment, but I figured there has to be an easier way....

Depending on the office's practices, if you want to keep the appointments separate due to them being different types of appointments or different providers I have seen most offices create separate appointments for recall/cleaning and non-recall production. 

However, if it is preferred, and the appointment has not been checked out yet, you can either right click on the appointment and click on properties, or double-click on the appointment.  Once the Appointment details window is open you can add additional codes.  If you add the codes that are a part of the tx plan, it should link them to the appointment so they are marked as completed when the appointment is checked out.

@elavid isn't the patient seeing a different provider for the cleaning than they are seeing for the restorative?
