Post work does not agree with appointment

If a patient is scheduled for D4342 / D4341 in the UL quad (this is what is in the appointment), and we go to "post work" (without having clicked any information (button or tooth or quad) on the hard tissue chart, why does it keep coming up UPPER RIGHT?

I'm trying to recreate this in my own data, but I'm thinking I need more information on the exact steps you're taking. 

 

I created an appointment for a patient and used code D4342 UL.  I went into the chart and completed mode, then clicked on "Post Work"  and closed the chart.  However, because I didn't actually do any work for it to pass back into the checkout ledger for the appointment it did not put the appointment into its suspended checkout status. 

Can you please let me know every step that is being done at the time when this is happening so I can attempt to recreate it?  That or we can find a time for me to connect in and see it recreated.
