PracticeWorks Installation

Hoping someone can help me. I have a new Windows 11 Pro workstation that won't run the Setup.exe installer from the wsetup folder.  I tried everything but it just won't start.  So I called support and they tell me I have to make an appointment???  So I went online to do so and the next appointment is in 2 weeks. I need this workstation online now.  Can anyone help with this?

Most likely there is an application blocking the setup from fully launching.  When you do try to run the wsetup does the task manager details tab show the setup.exe running?

if it does then it's trying to but another process is stopping it.  I usually find that if there is an Adobe application running it can be the cause, but there are a few others that tend to do it as well.  I can give you a call shortly and get in there to find what it is.

Thanks for the reply!  I managed to get a hold of a different support tech on a second call who did not try to force me to make an appt. The first one I spoke with, Trey, seems to be confused about the process.  Regardless, I worked with Jonathan and sorted out the issue.

Although I can see case notes from yesterday that it might have been resolved already.  Is it still an issue?

Unfortunately I'm not sure they support Windows 11.  I have held off upgrading because of that.  I would be interested in learning if they do and if not when they will

That is correct - they do not support win 11.  However, I have two PCs that are running win 11 pro and no issues.  Not to say there aren't issues; just not anything new
