Can we get an estimated time of when CS PracticeWorks v.8.0 will come out?

OK, it might actually be around May by the time we are done with our whole commercialization process.  At this point, I feel very comfortable with a Q2 release.

My name is Jeremy Uriz. I am the Product Owner for PracticeWorks V8. If you would like to discuss in detail the new Line Item Accounting feature please let me know. I'd be happy to provide a demo to you and any staff interested in seeing what's coming.

I would like to have a demo of the line item accounting as well so I can let the doctors know. After the update install, I know you said that it is just something you can choose not to use. However, if it is something we choose to use will there be any additional fees associated with it? Just curious, as I know the doctors will ask me that question.   Thank you.

Good afternoon elavid‌,

There are no additional fees associated with the Line Item Accounting feature. I will call the office to explain the feature and setup a demo.

Thank you for your interest!

Yes, we would like a demo to know a little bit more about it. Is the Line Item Accounting feature mandatory? Is there an extra charge to have it in our office? Thank you!

Line Item Accounting will not be "mandatory" and it is available at no additional cost!  If you are on a support maintenance contract, you will be sent the update.  After you update PracticeWorks to version 8.0, you can choose to enable Line Item Accounting features (they won't be on automatically).  If you don't want to use Line Item Accounting, you don't have to.  Just keep working as you are used to.

We are currently in our beta testing phase and are making some changes based on feedback from current users.

I expect that we should have a release of v8 with Line Item Accounting around April 1, 2017.
