PracticeWorks V9 (Multiple Users in Accounts/Charts) Beta Underway!

Good morning PracticeWorks community,

A quick update to let you know that PracticeWorks V9 is in beta and operational in several practices, with more soon to follow. 

I performed the installation and spent a day in a local Atlanta office, along with the senior developer, and Technical Product Manger @Anon. 

Feedback from this office prior to updating was unequivocal; "everyday we have to ask them to get out of the chart.". "Everyday?" I asked. 

"Everyday". 

Beta releases are intended to work out any kinks we missed during the development process. I was hopeful things would run smoothly, but expected a record lock to pop up at some point. 

It's been three working days since install and the office has not had to ask anyone to get out of the chart! While there, we observed a single patient's chart open on several machines, updates to a patient clipboard while open on another machine, and clipboards open while patients were in the chair - all without incident. 

@Anon will post more as we get close to release in the next month or so. 

I'm excited for this release and hope it helps your practice run smoother than ever.

Awesome to see this at the GOHS and great to finally meet you Jeremy!  We are super excited to get our hands on Version 9.0 as the record locking is a daily occurrence and pain in our office!  Thanks for all your hard work on this project!!!!

It was great to meet you as well! Thank you for attending the class and being a friendly face. 

I'm excited about seeing V9 get released also. The CDT code injector is also a step in the right direction and so far is working great. 

On a side note, since GOHS I've heard from more beta offices and it's working great. The beta offices have found a few issues (which we expect). These will be corrected and provided to beta before the final release.
