With the new version of PW (10.1.5), the fees in a scheduled appointment are not the same as what's been setup in the pre-defined appt.
Certain pre-defined appts have codes with different fees than the CDT code (for good reason) but the scheduler seems to pull the CDT code and overwrite the pre-defined appt fee. I'm inserting a couple of screenshots showing the pre-defined appt vs what happens when you schedule it.
Please pretty please, tell me there's a setting that I can change to prevent this from happening.
From what I tested, it would look like fees are going to be different from the pre-defined appt vs what the fees show as on the code list.
I'm guessing the code list shows 9944 at 776.00 and 64500 at 2099.
most likely the fees for those codes were updated, but the utility/options were not chosen to have it update the pre-defined appts.
Which fee is the correct fee? if it is the one on the tx code list then you can run the mass fee update utility and only fill out the options on the right side for how it'll update predetermined appts, recall appts, non-recall appts, and expired tx plans. This will make it update those items to match what is on the code list for all codes that may have been updated.
Thanks for the reply @jdowner
To answer your question, both fees are correct. I know that is confusing but there are situations when the fees do have to be changed to accommodate what we are doing in an appointment. Prior to our recent upgrade to 10.1.5, this was not a problem and PW would use the different fees in the pre-defined appointment. However, it appears that since the upgrade, there is new functionality that overwrites that fee from the code list.
Is there a way to force it to use the fee in the pre-defined appt instead?
Does this make sense @jdowner ?
Any updates on this?
