Predetermination not submitted

Jump to solution

In our office expert, it tells me we have a predetermination not submitted.  This patient does not even have a treatment plan created.  Can you help me to get rid of this?

Most likely there is a pre-d opened for this patient for a previous Tx plan, that may have been removed if one isn't list.  if a pre-d was generated, then the Tx plan was removed it may not have cleared the original pre-d claim.

If you were to go to List > Insurance claims list, and if on v9.1 or higher, > main claims list, you will be able to check the box for paper pre-d and elec pre-d in the filter section.  prior to v9.1, the filters were located below the claim list, in v9.1+ it is located to the left of the list.  In v9.1+ once you check the boxes you will need to click on the "Apply filters" button below the check boxes. once applied you can click on the title box for the column "Patient name" and then search by the patient's last name to find this claim.  Here you can select the claim and on the lower left (v9.1) click on Clear pre-d.

After this, you should be able to generate a new office expert and that entry will no longer be listed.

If you have any issues with this, we would be more then happy to assist.
