When we attempt to print a photo from the Layout Field in PracticeWorks, the image is not present. The bordering lines are there, but no photo. This has never happened before...any ideas?
This issue is caused by the latest windows 10 update. Depending on what build of the Windows 10 OS your computer has installed it will either be KB5000808 or KB5000802. There have been significant issues caused by this update for Windows users in regards to printing. For a lot of users, it causes Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) when attempting to print using certain print drivers or applications. For others, it causes some print task to print out blank sheets of paper instead of what was actually supposed to print.
So far the more common issue in regards to printing from PracticeWorks, is that the layout tab will print blank.
The only resolution at this time for this issue is to uninstall the update on the workstations that it did install to. If you have a local IT that you work with, they will be able to assist with this process.
