Restore a Deleted Chair

Jump to solution

Hello-

I need assistance in restoring a deleted chair.  The deleted chair show up on one of our "Do Not Use" appointment books as "unused-4".  The deleted chair is completely gone from our "General Appointment Book".  I can switch to the "Do Not Use" book to the view the patients scheduled for that chair.  Support says there is a was to fix this by editing the data file, but will not help us since we do not have a support contract.  Can anyone help?  Thank you!

Hello

Welcome to the Carestream Dental Community Exchange forum!

In order to restore the deleted chair so that it no longer shows as "Unused- #" one of our CS PracticeWorks R2/Escalation members will need to edit the data file that contains the chair name information.  To do this we will need to get on one of your computers and copy that file and make that edit.  All machines will need to have PracticeWorks closed for the duration until we place the corrected file back.

If you can provide the office phone number and let me know when the best time to do this is, I can open a ticket for one of our R2 members to call you.
