Text cutoff in charting note printout

When printing out charting notes, we see that several are cutoff at the end of the sentence. Why would that be and how to remedy?  Insurance company wants to see notes and they are going to be demanding to see all the notes.

This is a known issue to happen when printing chart notes within Windows 10.  The cause has yet to be determined and development is aware of the issue.

At the moment the only workaround seems to be to open the charting module in stand-alone and print the charts notes from there.

To open the charting module as stand-alone:

  1. Go to the Start menu application list.
  2. Go to the CS PracticeWorks application folder.
  3. Select and open the Charting Module application.
  4. Once the charting module is open search and selects the needed patient.
  5. Once the patient is selected, Click on either of the Hard Tissue, Soft Tissue, or Prog Notes.
  6. Click on the Print button like normal and select the needed options for printing.

This should allow it to print the entirety of the chart notes.

I just checked it and it is still cutting off

@joedindo I thought the same thing (I previewed it first).  However, when I actually printed it, everything was there.  Give it a shot?

unfortunately, if it still does it using the charting module in stand-alone, there isn't another workaround to keep this from happening at this time.  This seems to only happen when printing on a Windows 10 machine though.  It could be worth trying to print it from the server if the server isn't running Windows 10.

Very interested in a possible solution as we experience this same issue.
