This is probably very basic for some of you. Need to find out the names of all new patients the associate saw in the practice this year. Thank you for your time in advance, I'm grateful for this resource.

Trying to reach out to new patients seen by the associate to make sure no one has fallen through the cracks. Thank you

Hello Rob

The report you'll be looking for is the "Patient list" report. You can find it under File > Print > Patients > Patient list  (first one).

patient list menu

Here is what it's option screen will look like:

patient list options

while having the default box checked for "Print separate reports for:" you'll want to deselect the initials you don't need. Those listed here should be only the employees with the option  "Can be Primary Doctor" checked on their profiles.

Since you're looking for new patients, you'll want to set both date ranges (last visit date range and first visit date range) the same.   These date ranges work as an "AND" argument in the program so it will pull patients who's last visit date falls in it's range AND who's first visit falls in it's range.  so both need to be set correctly, which in this case should most likely be the same.

you probably do not want/need the box for "Include patients with no last visit" checked. That is up to you though.

This will list out all the patients for that provider who fit the date ranges.

Good morning Rob

Do these new patients have the associate set as their primary Doctor on the clipboards?

HI Johnathan,

Sorry for the late reply - just got back to the office.

Yes, the primary doctor is set as the associate for the patients he sees. Majority of his patients stay with him with little or no overlap with the owner dentist. Thanks!
