Tracking cancels and no-shows

If an appointment is deleted (whether canceled, failed, rescheduled, or made in error), where is a report that we can pull a list of these patients?

There is an expert that can be downloaded via the PracticeWorks Expert exchange titled "Cancelled Appts in Date Range." This expert will show you all appts within the date range set that were Cancelled with the patient name and date. 

 

Just in case, you can get this expert with the following steps

  • Click on the Experts menu.
  • Select PracticeWorks Expert expert.
  • Once the Expert Exchange window opens and finishes loading, scroll to the second PW Support option. 
  • Click the + to expand it
  • Select the option for Cancelled Appts by Date range. 
  • Uncheck the box for Download to Tutorial database
  • Click Download. 
  • Click accept to both windows that pop up and the expert will install.
  • Click close once able to close the download window and then close the exchange. 

To run the report:

  • Go to the Experts menu
  • Go to Contact experts then User Defined
  • On the User Defined Contact Expert pick list, select Cancelled Appts by Date range and run it. 
  • Enter the needed date range and click OK

Note* if this is not the first time running, to get updated information on the report and choose the option for Generate New Contact Expert.
