Windows 11 Update

Continuing our ongoing commitment to you to keep our family of DPMS products relevant and able to support your business going forward, we are happy to let you know that integration testing between your DPMS and Windows 11 is currently underway, and in some cases complete.

Customers on Softdent are able to run Windows 11 successfully with SD v19.0.3 and above.

PracticeWorks customers can look forward to v10.1.5 which will be released by mid-November, which also included the certified integration with Windows 11.

First Molar I

For what it’s worth, one of the new PCs that I acquired is running windows 11 with PW and we’ve not experienced any issues. If anything, I’d say it’s running a bit smoother…

Anyone else reluctant to update to a new version of PW? My concern is not truly knowing what’s been broken until after the fact. If it was a simple matter of applying an update that can be reversed, then it wouldn’t be as big of a concern. However, when you have to up date 20+ workstations, that’s far from simple.

what is the updated info re W11 pro?

Hi Joe is you whole office now on v10.1.6?

mixed W11 and 10?

clinical and admin?

Many Thanks

Hello Ralph

Our office is on 10.1.5.

I have three PCs on Win 11 Pro and the rest on Win 10 Pro.

2 PCs are clinical and one is admin.

Was not aware there was a 10.1.6 - seems like I don't get that kind of info any more...

Regardless, hope that helps.

Thanks Joe,

really appreciate the updates. I am on 10.1.3.64 and didnt even know there were important Australian updates in 10.1.5.

As a long term user have you had any of the issues with imaging accessing older TWdata images etc?

Thanks Ralph

@ralph What issue is it that you're having with the imaging?

did you recently perform a server migration and it's potential the imaging paths need to be updated to see the new directory location? or are you running CSI v8+  and you have more than one imaging folder?

Have you reached out to the Australian PracticeWorks Support team to see if they are able to assist?

I want to make sure you know that I’m a US user and not Australian.
As for imaging, we’ve never used the built in imaging module as I’ve preferred third party solutions.
Best of luck!

Yes Joe, I realise you are in USA.

I am a long term user from spam days Brian etc. 1998.

BTW which 3rd party image/xray program do you use?

Thanks Ralph
