How does the eStatements "online" feature work? This patient isn't set up to receive statements at all, but if I change that, and then select "online" at the bottom, what will happen? I'm having trouble finding help in any of the search menus.
If you're using our eStatements service and the patient has a valid email address on their clipboard, you can click the online option to have their statement sent via email.
If this option is checked and the email address on the clipboard turns out to be invalid, you would receive an online statement report back the following business day Via the ECS reports indicating an invalid email.

Just so I make sure I'm doing this right, what boxes need to be checked in the "should we print" and in the "eStatements delivery options" in order to ensure that a patient receives an emailed statement, not a mailed statement, and only when our pre-set parameters have been met (all insurance cleared, not under a certain $ amount, etc.)?
