Is there a way to get the cell number to appear on a printed schedule? When there is no home number we have been putting the cell in both the home number and the cell but when a patient has both we do not have access to the cell number on a printed schedule.
Following. Not that we really need this in our office the majority of the time, but there have been a couple incidents where we have lost electricity, and this would have been a great benefit!
This has been a frustration for our doctors when making follow up calls. They print their production sheet for the day, and the only field on there is the home #. Often, they make calls from home (or on their way home), so they have no way to reach the patient if there is no home #.
I want to be sure I understand which report is discussed here. sonyap, mbusinelle, and cplummer which report or reports are you using for this purpose?
Take a look at this and see if this helps your doc with calls. File > Print > Appointments > Alphabetical > (at this point there are several options to select). Personally, I think the Contact Expert - Follow Up Call generated daily will have the phone numbers. Either way the patient contact list could be generated and printed, then emailed. We have CutePDF and that saves time and material. Easy to send to an email.
The other option may be to go to Cloud - Doc could access from anywhere.
