Print Insurance Fee (UCR) Table

Jump to solution

We have several Insurance companies set up with the UCRs. We want to dump that info into Excel for analysis. It'd also be Ok with can get any kind of printed report with that data. However, I don't seem to find any option in Practice Works to print the Insurance Fees, just our regular Fee Schedule.

There is an option to export the Fee schedule that allows to select which Insurance Companies, but the file created is not text (binary) and there is no info on how to interpret that.

Any ideas?

Aldo,

Currently there is not a way to do what you're asking for, but I will mention this to juriz‌ for consideration for possible future update.

As Robert stated this isn't currently possible. The best reporting we have on insurance is focused on payment information and available for offices with Line Item Accounting activated. You can read about those reports here

I'm curious what kind of analysis you're looking to conduct on the data. If a call would be more convenient please let me know and we'll arrange a time to talk.

Thanks!

Multiple reasons:- Want to compare UCRs across insurance companies. We have all them loaded in PW already vs. having to type them from faxes or booklets. Also to analyze vs. our fee schedule. This will allow to identify cases where we need to renegotiate or even exit a PPOs.- Want to review UCRs of multiple companies and plans to identify the ones that may be outdated by comparing them to the "master" UCRs

FYI, we always use the code-specific estimation for UCRs and we have a lot of ins plans accumulated over the years.

Following this thread.  We are looking for the same information to analyze insurance company reimbursement.
