Attached is an extract of the R4 log with the responses to the automatic import of SMS messages:

Please would you explain the responses in the description field and also explain what has been updated in the R4 database for each of these records

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for the post, we have spoken to our SMS supplier, before the / is the description in the screenshot and after the / is what that means, I have also made the reasons why in Italic.

Action / R4 Appt Status

SMS Delivery Failed / SMS Sent
SMS Delivery Succeeded / SMS Sent
SMS Confirmation Received / SMS sent and appointment confirmed
Confirmed Appointment / Appointment Confirmed (manually change by user)

Description / Meaning

1. SMS Response rejected Appt patient has been deleted since appt was Unable to deliver the SMS The response reference from HCL did not match any appointments and the SMS response is neither confirmed or cancelled so the response was rejected.
2. SMS delivery success notification received for Appt patient has been deleted since appt was / The response reference from HCL did not match any appointments
3. SMS Response rejected Appt at 04/07/2017 02:20:00 PM with MWM Unable to deliver the SMS / The SMS response is neither confirmed or cancelled so the response was rejected
4. SMS Confirmation Received for Appt at 03/07/2017 03:25:00 PM with MWM / R4 changed the appointment status from sent to confirmed
5. Unconfirmed to Confirmed / User has manually changed the appointment status from not confirmed to confirmed
