Morning! Please can you send me instructions on where attachments are the stored within the PC as it is a local host software (not cloud-based storage), I have tried to locate them myself however to no avail, as they can have specific route create when it was installed.

R4 does not have the ability to send attachments via email, which is why I am confused.
Where can I locate and download all of the patient files and attachments?

What files and attachments do you want?
If it is the patients clinical notes this can be found in the chart, from the drop down menu at the top right of the chart the patients entire clinical history can be printed off using the option 'View Clinical History'

To print out all the scanned in documents will be very laborious.
There is no way to print them all out at the touch of a button.
Each document will have to printed out individually.
The most straightforward way to do this is in the patient's Comms Tab.
Double click each document and then print when it opens.

Would it be possible to have clear guidelines on how to export all of the attachments contained in the folder on the server machine?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide guidelines on exporting all of the attachments contained in the folder on the server machine as this is not a secure way of exporting copies of letters that have been assigned to patient records and any changes that are made to the contents of the files contained within these folders may result in the errors occurring within R4.
In addition, unauthorised access to the contents of these folders may result in breaches of your Data Protection policy.
Is there a particular reason why you are looking to export the contents of these folders as we may be able to provide you with alternative solutions.

Hi,
All of the attachments that are saved against a patient record are stored locally on the R4 server, unless you are running the hosted version of R4, in which case the attachments are stored on the Carestream hosted server.
We do not provide a cloud based version of R4 but we do have another practice management software that is cloud based called Sensei Cloud.
