All updates are now provided electronically via https://softwaredownload.csdental.com/en-GB
There will be two separate items:-
You will receive a letter and an email with your login details for the new update portal shortly.

Hello,
We have recently received a letter advising to install an update:R4+ v8.1.3 and NHS England fee update.
I am not sure if we need this update and looking for advice.
We are fully private dental practice and I assume NHS England fee update is not relevant to us.
Another update's highlights seems also unnecessary ( related to NHS contract, Triage Data, NHS Scotland ortho and other features that we never use)
Can we ignore this update or it is something obligatory?
I am able to sign in with my ID number but when I try to download the NHS fee update my antivirus software says a trogan has been detected and won't download it (Microsoft windows defender, the trogan vibven32 is listed). I have been able to successfully download the 8.1.3 update however. Can you please advise?
I too am getting an error with fee update download failing due to virus detection Tried both edge & chrome

Apologies for the issue you are having.
I would recommend contacting the R4 Helpdesk and we can check why the AVG is blocking this by accessing your server PC.
