CS R4+ 8.1.3 NHS England Triage Submission and December 14th Fee Update

Dear All,

We are in the process of completing final checks on the recently announced English Fee Update and will release to all customers on Monday 7th December 2020.

All updates are now provided electronically via https://softwaredownload.csdental.com/en-GB 

There will be two separate items:-

  • The Fee update - which is mandatory and needs to be installed by the 14th December.
  • CS R4+ 8.1.3 - which allows transmission of triage information currently sent via compass, this is not mandatory and does not need to be installed prior to installing the fee update.

You will receive a letter and an email with your login details for the new update portal shortly.

Hello,

We have recently received a letter advising to install an update:R4+ v8.1.3 and NHS England fee update.

I am not sure if we need this update and looking for advice.

We are fully private dental practice and I assume NHS England fee update is not relevant to us.

Another update's highlights seems also unnecessary ( related to NHS contract, Triage Data, NHS Scotland ortho and other features that we never use)

Can we ignore this update or it is something obligatory?

Hi,
There is no urgency for you to install this update if you are 100% private. However, if your version of R4 is older than version 8 we would recommend you install at some point.

I am able to sign in with my ID number but when I try to download the NHS fee update my antivirus software says a trogan has been detected and won't download it (Microsoft windows defender, the trogan vibven32 is listed). I have been able to successfully download the 8.1.3 update however. Can you please advise?

I too am getting an error with fee update  download failing due to virus detection  Tried both edge & chrome

Hi @matthew_b,

Apologies for the issue you are having.

I would recommend contacting the R4 Helpdesk and we can check why the AVG is blocking this by accessing your server PC.
