Re: CS R4+ V6.6 Coming soon....

Hi Everyone

Really excited about the news of the update concerning the e-signature pads and also the upgrade of the payment screen.

Any ideas as to when we will be receiving our update disc?

Am booked onto a training webinar soon, so hoping the update arrives first!

Thanks

Re: CS R4+ V6.6 Coming soon....

Hi, me again

Really happy with our e-signature pad for the PR forms - cannot believe how much time I have for other jobs now that all that filing etc is no more.

Just a minor issue but - the form is signed at reception when the patient checks in for their appointment.

We have to check with them if there are any exemptions etc, but, the date in the acceptance box is not populated until the dentist completes the exam, which is after the patient has to sign the form.

I know that there is a date on the patient's signature, but can the acceptance date be added to the form when reception checks in the patient?

Thanks

Kay

Re: CS R4+ V6.6 Coming soon....

Hello Kay,

Really pleased to hear that you are happy with the eSignature pads and even more so that it is saving you time in your working day!

Thank you for your question regarding the acceptance date, it is not possible to populate the acceptance date until the course of treatment has been accepted by the dentist. We have had this very discussion over the last few years with both customers and the BSA. The fact that the date the form is signed is clearly shown in the patients comms tab is sufficient.

Hope the above helps.

Kind Regards

Jon

Re: CS R4+ V6.6 Coming soon....

Hi,

We are interested in the two new features that are available in V6.6 as we have a large practice and a big community that are using R4.

1. Password security improvements

2. Audit security improvements.

In the attached document there is a limited information on these items. Hence, can anyone share a release documents that contains the full description of these features ?

Thanks,

Dr. Vivek

Re: CS R4+ V6.6 Coming soon....

Dear Dr Vivek,

Thank you for your post, please find below some more details on the features that you are interested in.

Password Security Improvements:

1. To add additional security to the CS R4+ logins v6.6 enforces that all users must have a password set, if any user tries to log in with a blank password they will be prompted that they must set a password to continue, the user will then be displayed the change password prompt to enable them to do this.

2. There is an additional clinic wide setting which is off by default, enabling this setting means that all user accounts need to have a strong password set, the strong password consists of the following criteria:

  • At least one upper and one lower character.
  • At least one special character.
  • At least one number.

If this option is enabled and any user tries to log in with a password which does not meet the above criteria, they will be prompted that they must set a 'strong' password to continue, the user will then be displayed the change password prompt to enable them to do this.

Audit Security Improvements:

Whilst comprehensive auditing exists in CS R4+ already, we felt that there was some additional auditing which would be beneficial to our customer base. In v6.6 the following auditing is now available alongside all the existing auditing:

  • Patient change of address.
  • Patient change of forename.
  • Patient change of surname.
  • Patient change of home telephone number.
  • Patient change of mobile telephone number.
  • Patient change of work telephone number.
  • Patient change of email address.
  • Patient change of Date of birth.

Hope the above information helps, if you have anymore questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Kind Regards

Jon
