Clinical Notes

Hi

Is there a way to download clinical notes onto the computer from R4 to send to an ex patient as she had been here a long time so printing the notes would use ALOT of paper, so just trying to find the best way to send these to the patient.

Hi,

Thank you for your post.

If you need to 'print' a copy of the patient's clinical notes, click the Additional Options arrow on the right-hand side of the charting screen and click View Clinical History.  This will display the full clinical history for the patient and will include clinical notes, treatment items and appointment details.  Click the Export icon (which looks like a floppy disk) and click Acrobat (PDF) file.  Select the location where you want to save the document.  Once it is saved you can then email it to the patient.
