Hours worked per month by each dentist???

Hello,

I would like to run a query or report that tells me how many hours each dentist has worked per month, between 9am and 5pm only. Is this possible please?

Thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Perhaps the chair occupancy report will give you the information you need.

This report will show you within a date range, a breakdown on a per dentist basis that includes their available hours (working hours), booked hours, number of appointments & chair occupancy percentage. If a dentist wasn't working on a particular day, the values would be zero.

The report, titled 'Practice Occupancy Report', can be found in the reports section of R4, under the 'Reports about appointments' category.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

Kind Regards,

Kirsty

Thanks for the reply Kirsty. The issue with that report is that we have the diary open for 1 hour before and 1 hour after the hours we see patients, as well as over lunch time. This makes the report very inaccurate.

Let me simplify the goal: instead of hours worked, is there a way to run a report that shows how many days every dentist has worked in a particular month please?

Hi Ed,

Unfortunately, if you have hours open in the diary that are not "working hours", then the occupancy report will not show the correct available hours.

There is no other way of getting the hours worked out of R4 at the moment.

However, If you would like to make  this a suggestion here is the link:  https://community.carestreamdental.com/t5/PRODUCT-IDEAS/idb-p/practicemanagementideas

Kind regards

Ok, fair enough. And what about number of days worked for each dentist in a month? Is there anything better than counting manually please?

The only thing would be to amend the working hours in "default opening hours". This way you would get the correct info in the occupancy report.

Other than that, it's a manual process I'm afraid.
