Re: Logging in

Although it is not possible to use the same log in on two different computers, it is possible for a user to have multiple accounts with different functions.

For example, an administrator may have one account that they use for admin tasks, such as adding users, but another account that they use for day-to-day tasks, such as working on the Reception desk.

If it is a clinical user who wants to sign in to two different computers then having two accounts will not be recommended as they will be identified as two different users which could cause confusion when writing clinical notes or completing treatment.  In this example, it is possible for a nurse to log in to one computer and the clinician to log into another computer.  When the nurse accesses any clinical screens, a pop-up is displayed which asks which performer they are working on behalf of.  Once they have selected the required performer any clinical activity that they then do, such as adding or completing treatment will be displayed with the nurse's name as well as the performer's name.
