New use hawing problems with automatic screen resize when opening R4

Jump to solution

Hello

We recently created a new user for one of our staff. The first week it all worked ok however now when longing in and trying to open the appointments window the entire window is resized to look very small and in one corner. The error we get is modDisplay::ResizeTheControls  Invalid propertu value.

All other users have no problems. Thank you

Hello Robert,

Unfortunately this is an issue we are aware of and is currently logged in our system as DE19878

Luckily the workaround is fairly simple, and is as follows:

  1. Go to Main Menu of R4
  2. Select 'Edit' > 'Settings'
  3. Click on the 'Display' tab
  4. Select the resolution that is not currently selected
  5. Restart R4

Regards,

Stuart

I would need to add one thing. We went into Settings - Display and selected the best fit option. That did not work.

I am having the same problems and this fix does not work for me. Sometimes the display is fine; other days it is so tiny that I cannot read it or use R4 at all

Dear Shelly,

Please call our helpdesk and they can arrange for you to be updated to the latest version of the software and it should then be resolved

Kind Regards

Chris

I had a similar problem, but now everything works without errors. Apparently the developers have fixed it.
