We are aware of issues relating to rejections of ortho claims, in conjunction with the BSA we are investigating this as a matter of urgency.
This issue is effecting all providers and we are working with the relevant bodies to bring about a solution as soon as possible, and will update accordingly via this post with progress.

The issues customers are experiencing with Orthodontic claims is not limited to just Carestream Dental. Other suppliers are experiencing similar issues and the BSA are investigating their systems, until we have confirmation from them we cannot directly answer your questions.
If we need to release an update to resolve we will get this to our customers ASAP.
We are reviewing these issues internally and will progress further
However we are still awaiting a full technical response from the BSA and are chasing daily
The BSA has relaxed validation at their side which has enabled us to do further testing will advise on the results of this at the earliest
Some claims are still being rejected despite the relaxed rules for processing and will require a product update to address this
Due to the nature of these issues and the subsequent issuing of new Orthodontic processing rules by the BSA we are having to develop a new release of R4. This requires extensive work and has to be carried out diligently. We have assurances the 2 month rule will not apply to these claims and the BSA have relaxed rules on their claim validation which should assist in the submission and processing of large percentage of impacted claims.
