Patient Archive

When you did a database trawl to archive old patients last year ( which was successful thankyou) it missed patients like the one attached whose data is so old that they have no appointment data on R4 .

I have been unable to  use the query wizard to create a list to  find these patients to delete manually as there is no way to search N/A in the appointment fields  as far as I can  find.

Any help/suggestions would be great

Hi,

It is possible to create a query to display all patients who have not had a completed appointment

1. From the Patients Selector screen click Query Wizard
2. Click New Query
3. If the Welcome to the Query Wizard screen is displayed click Start
4. Click Next
5. Select that don't have appointments with a status of [Appointment Status]
6. Click Specify Criteria
7. Using the drop-down list, change the Value to Complete and click OK
8. Click Finish
9. Click Save as New and enter a name for the new query

When you run this query it will display a list of all patients who have not had a completed appointment at the practice.  However, before you archive any patients from this list it is advisable to check their Appointment history as if they have any appointments with a different status (Pending, Cancelled, DNA, etc) but no completed appointments then they will still appear in this list.
