Hi,

Here is a link to a handout which shows how to create a report.

https://community.carestreamdental.com/t5/R4-Documentation/How-to-Generate-a-List-of-Mobile-Numbers-...

Although the content of this report does not relate to credit balances, it does show you how to select the fields that are displayed on the report.  You do not need to follow the steps 5-13 that explain how to create the query as you have already created that, but steps 14 onwards cover creating the report and you can select the fields that you want to include on your report.

Hi,

If you have Payment Allocation enabled on your R4+ system, there is a default report for Patients in Credit.  This report can be found under:

Reports => Reports about finances => Patients In Credit.

Doesn't look like it no, how do I enable it?

Payment Allocation can only be enabled by the Support Desk, but once it has been enabled it cannot be turned off.  Therefore any request for it to be enabled must be made in writing (i.e. email) to the support desk.

In the meantime, you can create a query that will display a list of patients who are in credit:

  1. From the Patients Selector screen click Query Wizard.
  2. Click New Query.
  3. If the Welcome to the Query Wizard screen appears, click Start.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Specify Attributes.
  6. In the Field list on the left-hand side, select Balance and then click Add.
  7. In the Criteria panel, select is less than or equal to from the Operator drop-down list to the right of Balance.
  8. Double-click in the Value field to the right of Balance and type -£0.01
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Finish.
  11. Click Save as New and type the name for the query.
  12. Click OK.
