Prior Approval Limit

Can you help, I have contacted helpdesk a couple of times, but, the amount is still incorrect.

I know the PA limit can now be changed in settings, but, I cannot get it to stay at £430 which is the current limit, it keeps reverting back to £410.

Any idea how to get it to remain at £430

Good Afternoon,

You should be able to go to the Main Menu of R4, Click Edit and Settings.

Select System 2 and where it has the Prior Approval Limit, you can override this and select your desired amount. Press Apply and then OK.
This should only be changed if advised by the dental health board.

Get prior approval for treatments

When a course of treatment, excluding diagnostics, exceeds the prior approval limit, you’ll need to request approval from the prior approval team. The current prior approval limit is £430.

The PA limit is £430 so it's OK for me to change.

We have been doing exactly as you said above, but, it keeps reverting back to £410

I would recommend at this stage you call the helpdesk on 0330 094 8194 and we can take a look into this for you.
