Referral clocks

Jump to solution

Hi there

Please can you tell me how to do a report on patients that still have their clocks running when 'mark as on referral' has been selected.

We need a report for those that have been archived and are non-current whose clock have not been stopped

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch.

There is a report which is already created called "Referral Clocks Running" in the reporting section of R4.This report will list all patients with a Referral clock running, including the archived patients. If you save it as excel then you can put it in to alphabetical order or longest running clocks. The clocks that have been running the longest would indicate that they might be the archived patients.

You could also  get a list of your archived patients and check this against the Referral Clocks report. To do this simply go to:

  • the patient search screen (magnifying glass) - see picture attached
  • Un-tick current patients
  • tick return all patients
  • click search
  • click print

The list will appear in excel where you can once again put it in to an order that will match the Referral clocks to make it easier to spot patients archived with a running referral clock.

I hope this is helpful.

Kind regards

Kirsty

Hi,

Glad that was helpful.

There is another query set up called "Referral Clocks Overdue". This report details the patients that have not been seen within the referral target and states the amount of time passed since the target was not met.

I imagine that the most overdue patients will be the ones that have not had the clock stopped . You could create a query to show patients that have had an appointment between a date range. Which could help to double check if the patient has been in.

To create this query:

  • From patient search screen (magnifying glass)
  • Select Query Wizard
  • click start
  • click Next
  • Tick "That Have Had Appointment"
  • Tick Next
  • Tick with User if you would like
  • Tick between dates - For a date range
  • Or Tick  after/before if you'd rather use that format
  • Click Finish
  • Click Save as new
  • Name your query

When you run the query you will see a list of patients seen between 2 dates. If you click print this will put the list into an excel spreadsheet, where you can put the list into alphabetical order. This will make it easier to spot the patients.

I hope this is also helpful.

Kind regards

Hi

Thankyou!

One more thing sorry, is there a report of patients that have been marked as on referral from a specific date?

If so how do I run this report? - If possible would it also be able to run that report and tell me how many of those on referral are child or adult?

Thanks
