We have been working on e-Dental for about 3 weeks now and I am struggling with finding rejections now. I have been advised that the old notifications from the board will no longer be received, so, now I have to go into the EDI tab and select rejections then search, it then brings up loads of old items (and new) but it is in 'Acceptance Date' order, not completion date, this means if your acceptance was some time ago and your claim has just been completed, any rejection is way up the page mixed in the list - how do I even know its there as I don't get any notifications anymore. I have been told as we 'Send Later' we will get a list from the board at month end - I liked to clear every day if any to action. Does anyone have any ideas how I can do this better/clearer way rather than waiting till month end. The dentists do not have time to Send Now after every completion as PIN numbers etc have to be added every time. Any help appreciated - so much easier the old way ....... I am sure I will be missing rejected/amended claims

Dear Dianne,
Thank you for your question, the way rejections come through on eDental are different to how they used to on the old EDI system. The best place to view them is in the rejected status as you mention above. What I would suggest though is to add the completed date field in to the list and then order by that rather than accepted. You can do this by following the below instructions.
1. In the EDI claims screen there is a small blue dot in the top right hand corner of the list of claims.
2. Right click on the blue dot and left click on 'table properties'.
3. In the list of colums on the left hand side make sure there is a tick in 'completed' (under the heading 'show').
4. Click [Apply] and [OK].
5. When you do a serach in the rejected status, you should now have the completed date.
6. Left click on the header name 'completed' twice and that will put the claims in the order of the most recently completed.
I hope the above helps you, feel free to let me know if I can be of any more assistance with this.
Kind Regards
Jon
