Report on Number of Pts seen as a practice and per Dentist within a specific time period

Hi,

I would like to know how I can run a report to show the number of patients seen at the practice within a certain time period. This should not solely include the patients who have had courses of treatment open/closed. But all patients who have been booked in.

Eg: the number of pts seen in a month at the practice, and also the number of patients seen by each dentist within that month?

This report is to help monitor NHS England requirements at the moment.

Hi,

There is not a default report but you can create one that will show you how many patients have completed an appointment between two specific dates.

• From the Report Manager Screen, click Reports about Appointments and then click New Report
• If the Report Wizard screen is displayed, click Start
• Click the ellipsis button (3 dots)
• Click New Query
• If the Query Wizard screen is displayed, click Start
• Select Appointments and click Next
• Select that have certain [attributes] and click Specify Attributes
• Select Date and click Add
• Change the Operator setting to is later than or equal to
• Click the Ask box and then click OK on the Date Format window
• Select Date and click Add again
• Change the Operator setting to is earlier than or equal to
• Click the Ask box and then click OK on the Date Format window
• Select Status and click Add
• Change the Operator setting to is equal to and the Value setting to Complete
• Select Treatment Provider and click Add
• Change the Operator setting to is equal to and click the Ask box
• Click OK and then click Finish
• Click Save as New and enter a name for the query
• Click the query that has just been created and click Select
• Click Next and then click Report Layout
• Click the Click here to edit report properties link
• Select PatientCode and click Add
• Change Report Contents to Summary only
• Click OK and then click Finish
• Click Save as New and enter a name for the new report

You can now run the report and it will display the number of completed appointments for each specified treatment provider between two dates.

If you also want a separate report to show the total number of patients seen then use the above but skip the 'Select Treatment Provider' steps.
