Sending email receipt in R4

Hi there

Does anyone know if there is an easy way of sending a receipt in R4+? It would be handy if you could see a print preview before they print then you could email that. 

We're trying to capture more emails and the offer of sending a receipt gets them to give it to us 😃

Many thanks for your post.

Unfortunately it isn't possible to make the receipt preview before it prints.

The only thing I can advise would be to go into the treatment tab on the patient and you can print out the treatment plan that they have just had, this will show the cost of the items as well.

To do this follow the steps below.

1- Load the patients record
2- Select the treatment tab
3- You may need to tick "show old plans" if already closed and highlight the plan they have just came in for
4- Along the bottom tick a box next to "Show before printing"
5- Select print
6- Highlight "TreatmentPlanChart.doc" and press OK (we can create a separate document for these receipts if you wish)
7- The file will then show in word, you can save it and email outside R4.

Hi Matt

That's ok if they already have treatment charted. This is more for pre-paid exams. We aren't taking money in practice if we can help it, and everyone pays before they attend.

Such a shame. The email and SMS option in the appointment booking box is fantastic; if there was one in the till it would be perfect
